5 Steps to a Perfectly Optimized Blog Post for Your Site

Write Your Perfectly Optimized Blog Post

Adding regular posts to your blog is a great way to boost your search engine rankings. Even though regular blog posts that are well-written and that are related to your industry can naturally help boost your search engine rankings on their own, there are steps that you can take to ensure that they are as well-optimized as possible. If you follow these 5 steps to a perfectly optimized blog post, you’re sure to craft content that will do well on the search engines.

1. Come Up with a Unique Topic

The first thing that you’ll want to do is come up with a unique topic. Unique content tends to do better on the search engines, and people will be more likely to click if they see a blog post that is a bit different from the others that they have read.

2. Choose the Perfect Title

You’ll want to choose an exciting, actionable title for each blog post. Include a keyword or too, make sure that the title isn’t too long, and make it interesting enough that people will want to click immediately.

3. Write a Meta Description

The meta description is what pops up under the title on the search engine rankings. Include keywords, and keep it between 150 and 160 characters. Make sure that it gives an accurate description of your post and that it is interesting enough that searchers will be intrigued.

4. Add Keywords (Sparingly)

You will want to add keywords throughout your post, but don’t get into the outdated “trick” of keyword stuffing. Google’s algorithms can tell if a post is stuffed with keywords, so make sure that they seem natural.

5. Add Inbound Links

Inbound links, or links to other pages within your blog and website, are very important for SEO. Plus, they can help encourage people to click to other parts of your site!

Crafting a perfectly optimized blog post is easier than you think. Follow these five tips, and get creative. In no time, you’re sure to have the perfect post for your site.
